EMS Architecture
The microgrid energy management system adopts a three‑layer architecture comprising a cloud platform, an energy management system (EMS), and a central control system. It meets the functional requirements for stable control and protection, grid‑connected/islanded mode switching, operational monitoring, energy optimization dispatch, and remote operation management under various operating conditions.
Designed on a standardized platform, the microgrid energy management system supports microgrid monitoring, control, analysis, operation, decision‑making, and management. It integrates distribution automation, dispatch automation, and substation centralized monitoring functions, providing comprehensive energy management services for both grid‑connected and islanded microgrids that incorporate diverse energy sources such as wind, photovoltaic, energy storage, and combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) systems.
The microgrid central control system consists of three components: load collectors, data collectors, and a central controller. Through real-time strategy computation, it sends control and protection commands to unit-level micro‑source controllers, load controllers, or sub‑microgrid controllers, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the microgrid system.
Microgrid Control Functions:Mode switching control, Grid‑connected power exchange control,Voltage and frequency control in islanded mode,Coordinated control of micro‑sources and loads,Black‑start control.
Features:The central control system adopts a universal PLC platform, offering high reliability, strong compatibility, easy scalability, and simple maintenance. The software employs a modular design, enabling short customization cycles, supporting redundant configurations, and achieving millisecond‑level fast, accurate, real‑time control.




Monitoring platform
Developed for smart microgrids and integrated energy services, this energy management platform features real-time energy monitoring, energy efficiency analysis, fault diagnosis and alarm, power quality analysis, operation and maintenance management, large-screen display, 3D visualization, system parameter configuration, and other functions.
